djay 2.1.3 released
Recently, changes in the iTunes 7.7.1 update from Apple made djay unable to load album artwork from iTunes. We’ve now released djay 2.1.3, which incorporates changes to allow djay yet again load album artwork from iTunes. Use the automatic update check in djay or download the new version from our website!

djay Arrives at Retail Stores in Japan
We’re excited to let you know that djay is now available in retail stores in Japan through our partner Vestax Corporation.
Last weekend, Vestax kicked off the introduction of djay with an event at Yodobashi Camera—a large electronics store in Tokyo, where they demoed djay for two days together with staff from Apple.

Mac Audio Guy on djay
Back in February, audio engineer, composer and sound designer Jay Shaffer aka Mac Audio Guy did a great podcast on digital DJ software with an overview of DJ software available for the Mac. Of course, djay wasn’t missing and here’s what Jay has to say about djay:
djay is the best DJ software for the Mac, better than applications that cost 10 times as much.
Jay is also using djay to do live DJ sets in Second Life over Shoutcast, which we think is really cool. Way to go, Jay!
