How to Use Two-Finger Mixing & Scratching

  1. Put two fingers on your trackpad.
  2. You can now perform the following actions:
    • Moving your fingers up and down will scratch the record, like scratching a record on a turntable.
    • Moving your fingers left or right will move the crossfader accordingly.

Two-finger gestures are supported on all Mac notebooks featuring two-finger scrolling.

Advanced Two-Finger Control

The following key combinations can be used in conjunction with two-finger control to perform other actions:

  • Seek forward/backward
    Hold ⌘ while moving your fingers up/down to seek through the song.
  • Pitch-bend
    Hold ⌥ while moving your fingers up/down to pitch-bend the record.
  • Pitch-bend and adjust speed
    Hold ⇧⌥ while moving your fingers up/down to pitch bend the record and adjust the master speed.
  • Pre-cueing crossfader
    Hold ⌥ while moving your fingers left/right to move the pre-cueing crossfader accordingly.

How to Use Three-Finger Gestures

  1. Put three fingers on your trackpad.
  2. You can now perform the following actions:
    • Moving your fingers to the left or right performs a transition to the left or right turntable.
    • Moving your fingers up/down performs a forwardspin/backspin.

Three-finger gestures are supported on the MacBook Air and the latest MacBook Pro.
